Iloilo's "Light of Peace in the Philippines" breaks another Guinness world-record

The Light of Peace In The Philippines held in Savannah City, Oton Iloilo lit 56,680 candles to break the Guinness record for the largest flaming image in the world using candles. Previous record holder is Pakistan which lit 35,478 candles simultaneously lit on December 10, 2009 .

The Philippines on Monday set another new world record, this time for the largest flaming image, pulling off the feat in Iloilo province.

Not even rainy weather stopped residents from lighting nearly 57,000 torches to form the image, while 100,000 torches were readied for the event, 56,680 were actually lit, the report said.

An aerial camera showed the image of the Philippine map formed by the lighted candles, the report added.
After the success of breaking the Guinness World Record with the number of 56,680 candles, 
other candles were lit and finally reached the total of 100,000 candles

Cebu Pacific Improves Travel Fund, Voucher Policies
