TMC Iloilo showcases employees’ passion, talents thru photo exhibit

As its way of giving back to its employees who share their talents, skills and passion to their work, The Medical City (TMC) Iloilo staged “Scene and Seen: Expressions of Pride, Purpose and Pleasure” on September 26. The said photo exhibit showcased the works of TMC Iloilo present and past employees who shared their talents in photography. Through “Scene and Seen”, TMC Iloilo was able to give the spotlight mainly to artists who devoted themselves in service of TMC Iloilo’s patient partners. These were Leo Anthony Biaco and Dr. Don Garcia. Leo Anthony Biaco was formerly part of TMC Iloilo Marketing team as Brand Specialist. Being his home for four years, Biaco was able to hone his skills in digital arts and photography being part of the hospital’s creative team.  With his background in layouting and photography, he further pursued his passion leading him to focus on being a freelance photographer and layout artist. The Molo Mansion

While its caused many speculations at first, the purchase of  business giant SM  of the derelict  Lacson/Yusay/Consing  heritage mansion breathe new life into this neglected property fronting the plaza and church of Molo in Iloilo City. The newly restored heritage house was opened to the public in time for the hosting of (some side meetings of the) APEC 2015   in Iloilo City. Now, christened as  The Molo Mansion , it now houses SM's  Kultura Butik Store   showcasing local artistry and craftsmanship, bringing together specialties from all over the Philippines for a unique shopping experience. The Kultura store is housed on the ground floor occupying almost all the available spaces while the upper floors are undergoing additional renovation and redesign. The Medical City (TMC) Iloilo once again proved that it is indeed a “Trailblazer in Healthcare in Western Visayas” with its recent feat in the 2019 DOH30 Hospital Awards held at Pearlmont Hotel in Cagayan De Oro on September 17. Anybody remembers the time when there was a Dairy Queen store at the old SM Delgado? It could have been more than two decades ago... SM City Iloilo partners with CSC-6, Gov't agencies for the 119th Anniversary Philippine Civil Service

The Civil Service Commission Regional Office VI, in cooperation with 23 other government agencies will be conducting the Government Express at the Mall (GEM) on September 23-26, 2019 at SM City Iloilo Northpoint. The GEM, which also aims to provide public access to various frontline services of the government, is one of the highlights of the 119th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary celebration in Western Visayas. There will be an opening program at 2pm on September 23, which will be grace by CSC Commisioner Leopoldo W. Valderosa, Jr. The Department of Social Welfare and Development 6(DSWD 6) will have the awarding ceremony of Huwaran nga Pamilya on September 26, as part of the celebration. A government job fair will culminate the event on September 27 in the same area.
