Part 2 of 2 Guimaras is still recovering from the impact of a recent oil leak that reached its shores from a damaged power barge from nearby Iloilo City. The island province, however, is no stranger to oil spills. On August 11, 2006, MT Solar I, an oil tanker sank off the coast of Guimaras.  It was carrying more than 2 million liters of bunker fuel - around 500,000 liters of which, leaked to the sea and engulfed most of the island. Part 1 of 2 I always look forward to any visit to Guimaras - the beaches, island-hopping adventure, natural and man-made attractions, food trippin' and of course - the sweetest mangoes! Iloilo Art Sale 2020 at SM City Iloilo : Bringing Hope amidst the Pandemic

Advocating art for all, SM City Iloilo hosts 120 Ilonggo artists to open the biggest art sale in this part of the region July 25, 2020 at the Northpoint. Amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, these Ilonggo artists find a way to help the community as well as find means to share and make a meaningful depiction of the present situation.
