On Track : Redeveloping the plazas of Iloilo City

The Iloilo City Government is on track in its implementation of the rehabilitation of various district plazas across the city in a move to provide relaxing spots for residents and visitors alike. "These plazas are being restored because we want to make public spaces available to our constituents for free" said Iloilo City Mayor Jerry TreƱas. " These public spaces are very important as it gives people a place to rethink and recharge." We have heard various stories of honesty, and witnessing tales of workers returning items they found in the performance of their duties makes it a little more special. With the physical demands of their tasks and their personal struggles, honesty prevails. Such is the case of Mr. Jerson Ibaco of SJS Manpower, working at the Foodhall of SM City Iloilo. On the night of April 26, 2022 past 8 in the evening, Mr. Ibaco found a grey sling bag left by a customer in one of the chairs in the dining area. Jerson did not waste time as he immediately referred to the Customer Relations Services Department office of the mall for the item’s safekeeping.
