KINN Capsule: Our home away from home in Singapore

As an SG first-timer, excitement was in the air even days before this upcoming flight. I will be part of the maiden voyage of Cebu Pacific for the resumption of its Iloilo to/from Singapore flights.

Together with my fellow Iloilo Bloggers Inc travel buddies, it was time for another adventure outside the country. A month before, we were also part of the Iloilo to-from HongKong maiden voyage, so it'll be another fun and unforgettable travel in the making.

Good thing immigration at ILO is just a breeze so it was a great start for our SG adventure. 


And just after a little more than 3-hour flight (enjoyed my 1A seat), we touched down at Changi Airport, proving that the airport is among the very best in the world - efficient immigration, spotlessly clean everywhere, conducive to arriving passengers plus a whole lot more!

As tiredness kicked in, we were ready to recharge. We just took a Grab ride from Changi all the way to Downtown SG and checked in in our "home away from home" for the next few - KINN Capsule.

At the sight of our hostel, I think I’ve fully recharged! 


Housed in an art deco building in the heritage area of Boat Quay, I  loved KINNs simple aesthetic look inside out. Plus checking on Google maps, the location is very convenient as proven by our travels all the way.

I’m no stranger to hostels and capsule hotels but KINN leveled up this my hosteling experience. The rooms and capsule pods are very clean, almost immaculate, and perfect for us weary travelers. 

The room was cool - both literally and figurative. It smelled fresh and clean with the bed and pillows almost waving, beckoning us to take that dive into a comfy sleep. 
The pods are categorized as a side-entry or a front entry with a lower and upper level. Though it could be pre-assigned, one may opt to choose upon booking.

Each pod is provided with pillows, comforter, toiletries and slip-ons (as regular footwears are not allowed inside). You will feel like camping or having a world of your own. 

Amenities inside the pods also include personal lighting, power outlets, foldable table, mirror and a roller curtain for privacy. Everything is within reach, in your own world! 

Personal lockers room (with ironing facilities) and dedicated toilet and bath for men and women are located outside the rooms. 

I love the pantry having a 24/7 supply of hot and cold water plus unli coffee, tea and biscuits whenever we like. There’s also a microwave oven and a space to store our personal foodstuff.

A complimentary light breakfast at the lobby starts the day and I love its selection of savory and sweet pastries like croissants, quiche, pain au chocolat and more - perfect and delicious way to start the day.

KINN Hospitality Concepts also do a great job with the community as its collaboration with local artisans for its merch and activities such as walking tours, physical fitness activities and more.

We also had a sneak peek at the newly launched KINN Habitat just a block away. It will be a mix capsule and private room accommodation with the same aesthetic vibes. 

And had us think of reasons to be back soon in Singapore!

Cebu Pacific Improves Travel Fund, Voucher Policies

Cebu Pacific (PSE: CEB), the Philippines’ leading airline, makes significant improvements in its customer policies by offering non-expiring travel fund and extending the validity of travel voucher to provide passengers with better travel experience. Effective August 1, 2023, CEB rolled out the following changes: 1.         NO EXPIRATION OF TRAVEL FUNDS . Previously, travel funds were valid for six (6) months from the date of conversion. Building a Healthier Future Together: LG PH Donates to West Visayas State University Medical Center

 LG Philippines affirms its commitment to build a better community with its recent CSR initiative in Iloilo. The activity was spearheaded by LG, together with Mark Vincent Fabresis from ML Laundry Equipment and Supply and BigWash. 2 sets of Giant C Max and 2 sets of Titan C Max washers and dryers were donated to West Visayas State University Medical Center (WVSU-MC) in Region VI, modernizing their laundry facilities.
