PhP 1.5-B Courtyard by Marriott Hotel to rise at Megaworld's Iloilo Business Park

Megaworld, the country’s leading real estate developer that pioneered the ‘live-work-play-learn’ lifestyle township concept in the Philippines, is allocating P1.5 billion to build the Courtyard by Marriott Hotel in the 72-hectare Iloilo Business Park.

Marking the entry of an international hotel brand in Western Visayas, the 15-storey contemporary hotel is the latest addition of hotels inside Megaworld’s biggest township in the region and will offer first-class accommodation to business and leisure travelers in the area.

Courtyard by Marriott, from Marriott International’s portfolio of world-class brands, is all about ‘Refreshing Business.’ The brand aims to provide guests with an environment that offers smart, energizing choices so that they can make the most of their time on the road. 

Catering to guests with the most discerning tastes, the hotel is equipped with 314 spacious rooms and suites. The hotel comprises 121 King Rooms, 140 Doubles, 32 Executive Rooms and 16 Suites. All rooms will have a curtain wall system that provides an amazing view of the urban landscape of Iloilo Business Park.  

Aside from the simple yet elegant furnishings, guests can also enjoy the amenities that include a lounge bar, meeting rooms, swimming pool with pool bar, outdoor bar and grill, state-of-the-art gym and business center. 

“The Courtyard by Marriott Iloilo will also feature a restaurant which will serve high quality food that the Courtyard brand is also famous for, featuring a variety of international and local cuisines,” Gassner adds.

Iloilo Business Park, Megaworld’s biggest township in Western Visayas, will have luxury residential condominiums, BPO office towers, a Megaworld Lifestyle Mall, a 1.1-kilometer Festive Walk commercial strip, open parks, transport hub, and the much-anticipated Iloilo Convention Center, among others.

Iloilo Business Park is modelled after the company’s ‘live-work-play-learn’ lifestyle township formula in the Philippines. Among its successful townships include Eastwood City, known to be the Philippines’ first cyberpark; McKinley Hill in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig; and Newport City in Pasay City, home of the famous Resorts World Manila.

Cebu Pacific Improves Travel Fund, Voucher Policies

Building a Healthier Future Together: LG PH Donates to West Visayas State University Medical Center

 LG Philippines affirms its commitment to build a better community with its recent CSR initiative in Iloilo.
