SM City Iloilo's PhP1.3B expansion

The biggest mall in the region gets even bigger as SM City Iloilo finally unveiled its 4-storey PhP1.3B north wing expansion on Nov. 20,2015.
A mass started the opening ceremonies at the new activity area followed by the blessing of the mall.
Afterwhich, SM bigwigs together with Iloilo leaders (Gov. Arthur Defensor Sr. City Congressman Jerry Trenas, Mayor Jed Mabilog and VM Joe Espinosa) led the ribbon cutting which officially opened the northwing expansion to the Ilonggos.
As there was time to enjoy the mall before they let in the crowd by 10am, time was running out for us to capture the mall in its "pristine" state as Ilonggos will sure crowd when it opens.
The mall has 4 levels (Lower Ground Floor, Upper Ground Floor plus the 2nd and 3rd Floors) seamlessly connected to the original mall, One can leisurely walk around the mall as if it is just as big as it is now and before. The floor and the coolness (literla and figurative) of new wing gives it away.
The LGF has mostly restaurants and cafes to get people's attention and whet their appetites. Among them that opened that day were Chicken Deli - one of Bacolod's most popular chicken inasal restos.
The second branch of Chika-an, a Cebu import, also opened on the LGF tucked in one corner near the side entrance giving it one strategic location.
Where Chika-an is, Buon Gelato follows as they are franchised/owned by the same family.
The UGF is set to host global brands - mostly all related to fashion. As reported before international brands like H&M, Uniqlo and Forever 21 are set to open in this new wing.
As of now, only Uniqlo boarded up announcing its arrival by May 2016 teasing "From Tokyo to Iloilo". Rumors say that H&M and Forever 21 will just be beside Uniqlo. Let's wait and see...
And, of course, everybody is waiting for BreadTalk to open its first branch in Iloilo!
The 2nd Level of the new wing connects with the cinemal level of the old wing and aside from the usual boutique and other specialty stores, the main feature is the Food Hall.
This is the 3rd Food Hall, they say, after SM Aura and SM Megamall, and it boast of a modern and sleek designed food court.
One of the most popular spots in the Food hall would the one with the glass windows overlooking the main highway and portions of Guimaras island in the horizon.
Some tenants of the Food Hall that are open or soon to open include  Pepper Lunch, Teppanyaki Brothers Express, Kogi Vegi, Potato Corner and Sbarro, among others.

Finally the top floor is all CyberZone. it will cater to all techies as the area is where the latest gadgets as well as the relates services are found. Its a one stop shop and a haven for the "TECHnocrats"
ALLPHONES is among that opened and it does not only offer cool phones, tablets and phablets, but also gives nice Globe postpaid plans that will suit your lifestyle needs. AllPhones provides its customers customized offerings based on their needs and wants.
All's well that ends well. At long last, SM City Iloilo unveiled its long-awaited and much anticipated expansion mall. All hoping there's more to come from the one that say "We've got it all for you"!
