Enjoying my stay at Injap Tower Hotel

Iloilo City's newest landmark - Injap Tower Hotel, was my home away from home during the Blog The City of Love campaign of the hotel to promote Iloilo City. For 3-days and 2-nights bloggers and writers from around the Philippines made this newly opened 21-storey edifice their pitstop for this heritage, cultural, historical and gastronomic tour of the City of Love.
As I traversed the long pedestrian walkway, I wondered which among the almost 200 rooms will be my sanctuary during the course of the event. It was around two months ago when Injap Tower Hotel opened with a big bang that got Ilonggos very excited. Seeing the tallest structure in the region, from almost anywhere in the city is imposing enough but the view from atop the tower was another thing.

After a brief check in at the front desk, I found myself on the 14th floor of the tower with my room just outside the elevator and facing th Iloilo Diversion Road.
My room was big enough for three - having one double bed and a single bed by the window side;contrary to the infos I heard that they were so small. It was certainly very big enough then since I had it all to myself!
My view down below was of the traffic with the hustle and bustle of Iloilo City nearing noontime. And look, there's the bridge way I traveled  across a few minutes before. It was really a long and tiring walk from there...
... that the bed and pillows in my room were like magnets attracting me to take the plunge to relaxation.
They were so comfortable - just the right softness to caress your body but strong enough to support you. And the pillows - full bodied yet fluffy. How I wished I could take them home! No, I really wished to have taken them home...
I opted to take the smaller bed by the window and had my "selfeet". Afterwards I checked out the other amenities they had to offer their guests on top of  the humongous TV on the wall. HAPPY I really was...
Injap Tower Hotel doubles as a condotel wherein interested buyers can acquire units to serve as their refuge. On days unit owners aren't "at home" and upon proper arrangment, their units can be rented as hotel rooms or long time condo-like units.
That's why there's a mini kitchenette complete with microwave, refrigerator and cupboard. Just simple fixtures yet usable for those on the go.
Heading to the toilet and bath, I found the toiletries in a pouch, with bath towels, robes and hand towels all looking and smelling fresh.

The hot and cold shower worked perfectly fast that I wasted no time refreshing myself that night after a tiring tour of the city yet filled with the goodness of its heritage and gastronomy.

The window side was another magnet I cannot repel that I "cramped" myself to the small bed just the perfect side for me but got all the pillows to be with me. It was another kind of view - Iloilo by night, with all the lights along the road and establishments and residences from afar. A view and almost an ambiance that only the Injap Tower Hotel has provided since then.
And as I was about to sleep; I heard a knock on my door and got this simple token from the night staff.
Indeed, I had sweet dreams during my stay at Injap Tower Hotel (given that every night I had Pillows). And woke up refreshed and ready to start the morning right...

Among the first hurdles tourists will have to contend is the distance that translates to expensive fare when traveling to and from this airport.
