SM City Iloilo Southpoint

The "battle" of dining strips and al fresco shops in Iloilo continues! After the soft opening of SHOPS at Atria a few days ago and the upcoming Streets of Festive Walk at Megaworld's Iloilo Business Park, SM City Iloilo "answers back" with its own - the expansion of SM Southpoint. It will be a 2-storey mall with both air-conditioned and al fresco "ambiance" plus a mini park with fountain with a small park of the parking area retained.


As revealed in the website of its construction firm Monolith, the two storey-edifice will be put up  in the  mall's parking space between the current SM City Iloilo mall and Plazuela de Iloilo. The area is now "flattened" and actual constructions works on the edifice is set to start very soon. It will boost the mall's floor area by almost 25,000 sqm on top of the main malls' Northwing expansion.

It will not only give Ilonggos more choices on shopping and dining but a whole new ambiance of alfresco relaxation adjacent to their beloved mall!

One the rumored tenants of SM City Iloilo Southpoint is the "super buffet" restaurant VIKINGS,
which is said to have almost 500 food choices.
Here are some of the confirmed tenants of SM City Iloilo Southpoint
VIKINGS BUFFET, BISTRO OCEAN CITY, PIZZARO, CHARCOAL BOY, AMIE'S STEAKS, SPICE ELEMENTS, SAN JOSE CAFE, THE PITSTOP (Mango Pizza) and NIÑOS BURRITOS, among others.

And of course there are some rumored tenants too including CAFE MARY GRACE and ITALLIANI'S.

Cebu Pacific Improves Travel Fund, Voucher Policies

Cebu Pacific (PSE: CEB), the Philippines’ leading airline, makes significant improvements in its customer policies by offering non-expiring travel fund and extending the validity of travel voucher to provide passengers with better travel experience.
