ILOMOCA Hulot Gallery Reopens With '5' Group Exhibition

ILOMOCA showcases the works of five abstract artists as it reopens with safety protocols in place.

Art patrons and enthusiasts can now visit the Iloilo Museum of Contemporary Art Hulot Gallery beginning Feb. 5 as it reopens with safety protocols in place.

Marking ILOMOCA's reopening is "5," a group exhibition featuring works that offer a swatch of the abstractions found in Panay. The exhibit brings together five abstract artists Rock Drilon, Allain Hablo, James Salarda, Jeline Laporga and Bryan Liao.

Drilon, Hablo, Laporga, Liao and Salarda headline Hulot Gallery's "5"

A celebration of the vibrant abstract art scene in Panay, “5” looks into the creative styles and
artistic experimentation of Drilon, Hablo, Laporga, Salarda and Liao.

Existent in these compositions is a dynamic gestural interplay of lines, colors and shapes that are reduced to art's purest elements.

With guests' safety as the priority, ILOMOCA will be implementing safety guidelines in line with the directives of the local authorities. To facilitate social distancing, only 20 people will be allowed at a time inside the museum.

Guests must wear face masks and face shields at all times while inside the museum and must undergo temperature check and contact tracing via QR code at the entrance.

Hulot Gallery at ILOMOCA will be open to the public from Tuesday to Friday, 10 am to 4 pm.
Entrance is free of charge. For a seamless visit, guests are encouraged to book an appointment ahead of time through the ILOMOCA Facebook page.
