Festive Walk Iloilo celebrates local coffee scene with Pangape ‘Ta : A Coffee Fest

Festive Walk Iloilo is one in celebrating with coffee lovers and connoisseurs this month of October with all things brew-tiful with the launch of its maiden event Pangape ‘Ta: A Coffee Fest.

Brewing from October 21 to 24, Pangape ‘Ta will showcase coffee beans from local farmers, share information about the benefits of coffee beans, and take guests on a coffee adventure with a selection of cafes.

In Timpla: A Coffee Fair, guests can shop from a wide array of homegrown coffee choices while also supporting local farmers.

All of the merchants in the fair outsource their coffee from farmers in various parts of the country such as from the Municipality of Leon, Iloilo; Municipality of Igbaras, Iloilo; and from Mt. Apo. Some of the participating merchants are Neighbor Coffee, Iloilo Coffee House, Telings, and La Bomba.

Drinking a cup of coffee a day can be good for one’s health. In Coffee Matters, Festive Walk Iloilo will share some of the health benefits of coffee, based on science.

Guests, meanwhile, can go on a coffee hopping trip in Cozy Coffee Spots. The event will feature must-try cafes in the township, where customers can find the perfect blend among the diverse roster of participating cafes. These shops also have alfresco setups so guests can sip their coffee cups while relaxing in an urban garden.

For the safety of every guest and staff, Festive Walk Iloilo implements safety measures, health checks, and proper social distancing.
