The exhibit, which will run until May 15, 2023, showcases collections of historical stamps ranging from flowers, animals, national heroes, entertainment icons to Olympic medalists and more.
The event also highlights the Philippine Postal Corporation (PHLPost) issuance of special stamps “Kalayaan ay Pamana” with the Filipino Heritage Festival Inc. (FHFI), in line with the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) in commemorating #NationalHeritageMonth 2023.
“Kalayaan ay Pamana” presents eight buildings that are venues vital to the narrative of Philippine independence. These heritage structures are highlighted for they are directly associated with the birth of the Filipino nation, the first democracy and constitutional republic in the whole of Asia.
