Park Inn by Radisson Iloilo marked its 5th anniversary with a vibrant month-long celebration, honoring the amazing people who have made the hotel's success story possible. The festivities were a delightful mix of events, bringing together partners, team members, and the Iloilo community to forge stronger connections and create memorable moments.

The celebration kicked off with a special movie night for valued partners at the Director's Club of SM City Iloilo, followed by a delectable dinner buffet at Ani on April 18th, 2024. Guests reveled in a relaxed evening filled with delightful entertainment and culinary treats, setting the tone for the exciting anniversary celebrations to come.

On April 20th, The Park Inn by Radisson Iloilo team donned their fun-loving uncle and auntie hats for the day! The team conducted a family day at SOS Children's Village Iloilo, sharing stories, engaging in playful games, and preparing delicious meals for the children. This heartwarming day, brimming with laughter, unforgettable moments, reflected the hotel's unwavering commitment to giving back to the community and creating positive experiences for those in need.

Continuing the celebration, Park Inn by Radisson Iloilo hosted exclusive lunches for the esteemed Iloilo Bloggers Society and Iloilo Bloggers Inc. on April 27th and 28th, respectively. This is to celebrate and express gratitude to the incredible Iloilo blogging community who have been pillars of support since the hotel's opening. The lunches showcased a mouthwatering selection of dishes specially prepared by Executive Sous Chef, Chef Diego Trillana. It was a delightful afternoon filled with delicious food and lively conversations.

Fostering team spirit, Park Inn by Radisson Iloilo also organized a series of pocket activities, from basketball games to in-hotel bazaars, and even career swaps. These engaging events brought employees together in a fun and lighthearted way.

The month-long celebration culminated in a special event for employees and partners. Graced by executives from SM Hotels and Conventions Corporation, the event was anchored to the theme "Pistang PIRI-pino," with PIRI being the initials of Park Inn by Radisson Iloilo. Guests and employees donned modern Filipino attire, adding a festive touch to the evening. Complete with delicious food, outstanding talent showcases, and reminiscing, the event served as a heartfelt celebration of the hard work and dedication that has driven the hotel's success over the past five years.

Sherwin Lucas, Area General Manager of Park Inn by Radisson Iloilo, emphasized that anniversaries hold a special meaning for him. They not only mark milestones but also symbolize new beginnings.  He expressed the team's unwavering hope for continuous improvement, striving to be better every day.  “Drawing on a beautiful Hiligaynon word, 'handum,' which speaks to feelings of longing and anticipation, today is not just the culmination of a five-year journey; it's the dawn of our dreams coming to fruition, and the stepping stone to even greater success in the coming decade and beyond” he said in his opening speech.

Cebu Pacific Improves Travel Fund, Voucher Policies

Cebu Pacific (PSE: CEB), the Philippines’ leading airline, makes significant improvements in its customer policies by offering non-expiring travel fund and extending the validity of travel voucher to provide passengers with better travel experience.
