Courtyard by Marriott Iloilo to open May 2018

In it's bid to make Iloilo City an investment haven in this part of the country, property giant Megaworld has strategically positioned its almost 100-hectare Iloilo Business Park (IBP)  to be at the center of it all.


Serving as the catalyst which triggered the investment boom the city is experiencing in the past few years, Megaworld has also set sights in making Iloilo City as an international MICE (meetings, incentive, conferences, exhibitions/events) destination.


And set to open within the first half of 2018 is an iconic hotel brand recognized around the world - Marriott. It will be the first Courtyard by Marriott Hotel in the country and currently (upon opening) among the only two hotels in the Philippines carrying the internationally recognized brand.


Under construction in the last 3 years, the 15-storey Marriott Courtyard Hotel will offer more than 300 rooms


It strategic location beside the iconic Iloilo Convention Center (together with Richmonde Hotel Iloilo) reinforces Megaworld's id to further boost tourism in its various developments across the country.

Courtyard by Marriott, from Marriott International’s portfolio of world-class brands, is all about ‘Refreshing Business.’ The brand aims to provide guests with an environment that offers smart, energizing choices so that they can make the most of their time on the road.

Lobby Lounge
Catering to guests with the most discerning tastes, the hotel is equipped with 326 spacious rooms and suites. The hotel rooms are classified as King Rooms, Doubles, Executive Rooms and Suites. All rooms will have a curtain wall system that provides an amazing view of the urban landscape of Iloilo Business Park.

Pool Bar
Aside from the simple yet elegant furnishings, guests can also enjoy the amenities that include a lounge bar, meeting rooms, swimming pool with pool bar, outdoor bar and grill, state-of-the-art gym and business center.

“The Courtyard by Marriott Iloilo will also feature a restaurant which will serve high quality food that the Courtyard brand is also famous for, featuring a variety of international and local cuisines,” Gassner adds.

“We see tourism as a potential driver of growth for Megaworld as we draw more people to our developments. Within the next three to five years, we hope to see a bigger slice of hotel earnings in our revenue pie as we open our new hotels,” says Kevin L. Tan, senior vice president, Megaworld.

Cebu Pacific Improves Travel Fund, Voucher Policies

Cebu Pacific (PSE: CEB), the Philippines’ leading airline, makes significant improvements in its customer policies by offering non-expiring travel fund and extending the validity of travel voucher to provide passengers with better travel experience. Building a Healthier Future Together: LG PH Donates to West Visayas State University Medical Center

 LG Philippines affirms its commitment to build a better community with its recent CSR initiative in Iloilo.
