From madrigals to pop-songs, from French &Italian to Ilonggo and Filipino folk songs, it was a musical night to remember as the Philippine Madrigal Singers serenaded Iloilo once again. With the imposing Molo Church (St. Anne's Parish) as the venue, the night echoed with the voices that made the Philippines proud for more than five decades. Ilonggo Senator Franklin M. Drilon together with the National Historical Commission of the Philippines led by its chairman Rene R. Escalante brought the world-famous choir in Iloilo also for the inauguration of the Museum of Philippine Economic History on the same day. It was one of the most attended event inside the Molo church as attested by the senator and the crowd filled up the whole nave of the church.
