Honest SM City Iloilo security guard returns bag with cash, personal valuables


With the challenges in life and with almost everyone is vulnerable when confronted by temptation, another SM City Iloilo guard showed exemplary honesty in the conduct of his duty.
At around 8:40pm of July 22, 2019, Security guard Cyrus Semilla of NMISA Security Force Inc.,recovered a Black Bag at the foodhall area in the 2nd level Northpoint area of the mall.


The latter immediately turned over the bag to the CRS Office for safekeeping purposes. 

It was found out that the bag contained P19,930 cash inside, assorted ID’s, BDO cash card, GSIS and other valuable items.  



Past 9pm of the same date, the rightful owner of the bag, Mr. Vincent Catamin of Calinog, Iloilo appeared at CRS to claim it. After thorough verification, the black bag with cash was released to the said owner.

SG Semilla’s good deeds and sincerity to his job is a commendable act worthy of immulation and recognition. A rare gem that his family and the community can be proud of.
