Citadines Amigo Iloilo by Ascott opening by 2019

When Amigo Terrace Hotel ceased operations starting January 1, 2018, it was a "renovation"  according the grapevine. Since then little was heard about the refurbishing works on one of the more prominent local hotels in the City of Love. Until recently...


In an article published by the official website of Ascott entitled Ascott Gains Access To 1,600-Unit Pipeline In The Philippines Through Strategic Alliance With Cebu Landmasters, it mentioned that... 
In the Philippines, Ascott currently has 20 properties offering over 4,300 units across key cities in Metro Manila, Bacolod, Cebu, Davao, and Iloilo. 

Furthermore it shed light to the status of Amigo Terrace
These include 13 properties that are slated to open from 2018 to 2023. Citadines Bay City Manila will open this year, followed by Citadines Amigo Iloilo and Citadines Cebu City in 2019.
Despite the lack of official press release unlikei ts counterpart in Bacolod and other cities, it will open ahead of those which had the official press releases as it was mentioned that
Ascott DD Meridian Park Manila, Citadines Bacolod City, Citadines Paragon Davao, Somerset Gorordo Cebu, Somerset Valero Makati, Somerset Salcedo Village Makati, and lyf Cebu City will open in 2021. Meanwhile, Citadines Greenhills Manila is targeted to open in 2022 whereas Citadines Benavidez Makati and Citadines Roces Quezon City will open in 2023.
So, let's just wait and see for this development as we await the official press releases that will come from these companies.

Cebu Pacific Improves Travel Fund, Voucher Policies

Cebu Pacific (PSE: CEB), the Philippines’ leading airline, makes significant improvements in its customer policies by offering non-expiring travel fund and extending the validity of travel voucher to provide passengers with better travel experience. Effective August 1, 2023, CEB rolled out the following changes: 1.         NO EXPIRATION OF TRAVEL FUNDS . Previously, travel funds were valid for six (6) months from the date of conversion. However, under the new policy, travel funds will no longer have an expiration date.  LG Philippines affirms its commitment to build a better community with its recent CSR initiative in Iloilo.
