Fiesta Souvenirs opens flagship store

I have always associated Fiesta with fine quality shirts that go beyond the design but more on the durability and make of the clothes. I mean, I still have their shirts from 5 years ago and it is still in good shape, color and size - no shrinkage!

But with the opening of its concept souvenir store, Fiesta has evolved from shirts to having a wide variety of souvenirs.

Offering the best of Iloilo and Western Visayas, FIESTA FAVORITE SOUVENIRS celebrated its 15th anniversary with the opening of its newest and one-stop flagship store at the Festive Walk Iloilo mall at Iloilo Business Park.

A blessing and ribbon-cutting rites were held last July 3, led by its owner/founder Atty. Jobert PeƱaflorida and wife Rhea together with patrons and guests including  Department of Tourism Region 6 regional director Atty. Helen J. Catalbas and Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) – Iloilo director Diosdado Cadena Jr.

With over 30 outlets across the country at present, Fiesta Souvenirs has gone a long way, from  its beginnings 15 years ago in the "garage "of Atty Jobert. Now, as an MSME that started from scratch  it has become a local brand that has taken off natinwide - a fitting way to celebrate a decade and a half!

So what's in store at the flagship branch of Fiesta Souvenirs? Of course T-shirts will always be among the showcase products. And it was great opening deal with selected tees priced at PhP50 only! But there are premium shirts that deserve a much higher price.

Are you  cap collector? Fiesta has a lot in its collection but I only got to capture a few. Just like ther shirts, its good quality cap as I've tried them.

Tapping local entrepreneurs and MSMEs (Micro, small and medium enterprises) around the region, Fiesta came up with “Calle Real” for their Filipiniana Collection - named after Iloilo City's rich heritage street..

Working with Aklan’s weavers known for their quality piƱa fiber fabrics especially for barongs and the hablon-makers of Villa Arevalo, Oton and Miag-ao, Calle Real creates and promotes a fashion show of local weaving at Fiesta for all your "occasional" needs!

And I love these ref magnets!!! As a "minor" collector of these souvenirs, these are among the best I have ever encountered and make a perfect addition to my fridge and yours too!

Care for some keychains? Show some Ilonggo pride or give them as pasalubongs when you have your vacation

For a more festive souvenir or home display, how about some "Dagoy" Dolls bringing the Dinagyang celebration right into our homes! Hala Bira, Iloilo, Sulong sa Pagbag-o...

Did you know that Fiesta Souvenirs  has its own organic line? Aptly named "Buhi" - meaning "alive / living" in the Hiligaynon language, these products are produced by various women cooperatives in Antique and Boracay, Aklan. Their products range from virgin coconut oil, organic soap, massage oils, lotions, and other wellness commodities.

You can also get these all-around purses for your organic products when you travel.

And what's an Ilonggo souvenir shop without the quintessential food items? It's an ultimate one-stop shop for foodies to discover the best of Ilonggo and Filipino sweets, biscuits and more.

Different brands of favorite Iloilo pasalubong items like barquillos, piaya, biscocho and butterscotch vie for your attention hoping to be taken home.

And Fiesta has its own brand of dried mangoes which was newly-made that time (I assume) so it was still moist and chewy - Namit gid!

Look there's Mama's Kitchen crisps and chewies!

You can also bring home some Ilonggo spiced vinegar - Sinamak

These are just some of the many things Fiesta Favorite Souvenirs has to offer inside their newly-opened flagship store at the second level of Festive Walk Iloilo mall.

There are still many things to be discovered as Fiesta constantly evolves and look for more and distinct products for everyone to enjoy.
