Park Inn by Radisson Iloilo celebrates "Paskwa sa Panai"

One of the newest hotels in the City of Love, Park Inn by Radisson Iloilo is celebrating its very first Christmas!

Adapting as "Paskwa Sa Panai" as its holiday theme, the concept focuses on Iloilo City's naturally colored and festive Holiday customs and traditions.

And to enliven the spirit of the Ilonggo tradition and incorporate it during the Christmas season, Park Inn by Radisson Iloilo partnered with Cham Lopez, Balai Hablon, and Atelier de Hablon.

The centerpiece is a 12-foot Christmas Tree on display at the hotel's lobby decorated with hablon angels, Christmas balls wrapped in hablon cloth, rattans balls, Capiz shell stars and other Panayanon pieces.

SM Hotels and Conventions Corporation (SMHCC) EVP Peggy Angeles, Park Inn by Radisson Iloilo GM Sonny Alvaro and Iloilo City Congresswoman JamJam Baronda led the ceremonial lighting and handed out gifts to children from SOS Children's Village.

Part of the proceeds from the Paskwa Sa Panai Christmas goodies will be donated to the children at the end of the year.

The event was capped by a night of music from Broadway star Vien King and the University of San Augustin Troubadours.

A sumptuous dinner reception followed at ANI Restaurant.
