Dinagyang 2014 welcomes GLOBE VILLAGE at the Iloilo Capitol

Expect a fun-filled experience this Dinagyang 2014 as Globe transforms the Iloilo Provincial Capitol Grounds from January 23-26, 2014 into a colorful Globe Village that will serve as the city’s center of festivities and fanfare. At the Globe Village, locals and tourists can check out the main attraction – the Globe Mobility Store-on-the-Go, a one-stop shop showcasing the telco’s products and services via exhibit booths, exciting activities like gaming stations, food carts, and nightly entertainment acts such live bands and disc jockeys.

Globe Telecom is set to bring a wonderful festival of fun and revelry as the leading telecommunications company joins Iloilo City as it celebrates its annual Dinagyang Festival with its Mobility Store-on-the-Go and a host of exclusive offers and exciting activities for locals and tourists to enjoy.

The Globe Mobility Store-on-the-Go will also allow customers to inquire and apply for the latest postpaid and broadband plans as well as other Globe promos while on the go. Device partners CloudFone and Samsung will also join the 4-day event to showcase their latest roster of gadgets and mobile phones.
One of the highlights of the telco’s wonderful celebration of the festival is the “Kaloka-like” contest, a concept that originated from a noontime show open to the public. Participants are to showcase their looks and talents to convince the crowd and the judges that they deserve to win the title as the “best impersonator in Iloilo City.”
In addition, a daily raffle will be open to subscribers who will avail of Globe Prepaid, Postpaid and Tattoo offers, with exciting prizes such as tablets, handsets, and gift certificates from partner-establishments. A social media engagement using Instagram and the hashtags #Wonderful2014 and #GlobeDinagyang2014 with daily prizes up for grabs will be launched to spread the fun using the social networking site.
Open daily from 4 p.m. until the wee hours of the morning the next day, the four-day event is open to the public for free but Globe subscribers will be greeted with a slew of food treats and freebies upon entry.
