TMC Iloilo asserts service to Ilonggos thru managing Iloilo City Modular Hospital

In partnership with the local government of Iloilo City, The Medical City Iloilo is set to manage the operations of the 33-bed Iloilo City Modular Hospital.

Officially turned over on January 27, the Iloilo City Modular Hospital located at Brgy. So-oc in the district of Arevalo aims to provide additional beds for COVID-19 patients with the current surge of cases in Iloilo City.

“With the challenge of having limited beds for COVID patients, I made sure that I am able to reach out to various agencies to have additional beds. I always take the initiative to address all COVID-19 concerns for the welfare of my beloved people,” Iloilo City Mayor Jerry P. TreƱas previously said in a statement.

TMC Iloilo CEO Dr. Felix Ray Villa receives the keys of the Iloilo City Modular Hospital from Iloilo City COVID-19 focal person Dr. Roland Jay Fortuna during the Turn Over Ceremony held last January 27.

TMC Iloilo will manage the operations of the Iloilo City Modular Hospital which includes the training of the medical personnel, integration of the hospital information system, and provision of diagnostic services.

“This partnership is TMC Iloilo’s testament to serve the Ilonggo community. As a private healthcare institution, we desire to bring our quality services to everyone most especially during this time when we all need to unite and protect one another,” TMC Iloilo Chief Executive Officer Dr. Felix Ray Villa noted.

TMC Iloilo has been active in community-based medical programs. To note, the hospital caters to qualified service patients and brings quality healthcare to the grassroots with its outreach activities.

Dr. Villa also assured that the Ilonggos will experience excellent and quality healthcare services in the Modular Hospital as TMC Iloilo brings the standards of the institution in this partnership.

Meanwhile, TMC Enterprise President and CEO Dr. Eugenio Jose F. Ramos commends the Iloilo City Government for this initiative and hopes that the partnership will truly benefit the Ilonggo community.

“We are very elated to this kind of Public-Private Partnership. As a hospital known for having a patient-centered service philosophy, this partnership is so much aligned to our goal of making an impact to the community that we serve by making quality healthcare services accessible to everyone”, said Dr. Ramos.
